What data we collect

When you use our website, the following categories of data are processed:

When visiting the website (technically necessary): When you access our pages, so-called server log files are automatically recorded. These contain the IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access, and the page accessed. This data is used exclusively to ensure the operation of the website and for troubleshooting, and is deleted after 7 days. It is not combined with any other data sources.

When using the contact form: Name, email address, phone number and your message.

When using the project submission form: Project-related information as well as contact details of the submitting organization (name, email, phone, address).




Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries via the contact form (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry)
  • Processing project submissions (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – initiation of a contract or performance of pre-contractual measures)
  • Providing and ensuring the security of our online services (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

We do not use web tracking, analytics tools, or advertising cookies.




Disclosure of data

As a general rule, your personal data is not disclosed to third parties, unless this is necessary to process your inquiry or we are legally obliged to do so. Our website is hosted via HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Limited, 1 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland). HubSpot processes data as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, exclusively on our instructions.




Retention period

Inquiries submitted via the contact form are deleted once they have been fully processed, and no later than after 90 days. Project submissions are stored for the duration of the review process and, where applicable, the funding relationship. The data is then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.




Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. To exercise your rights, please contact us at the address given above.
